CCMA NOMINATION FOR SEAN

2007 CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

-- Congratulations goes out to Sean Hogan on being Nominated on the final ballot for Roots Artist of The Year!


Hogan won this award in 2003, the third time it was offered and has been nominated every year since.

 

The awards take place on Monday Sept. 10th, and will be broadcast across Canada, please check your local listings.

2007 JUNO COMPILATION!

-- Hey Industry friends and relations, Sean here. May this find you doing great!  I wanted to let you know a little more good news.

Looks like the Junos in Saskatchewan have chosen a song of mine (SHANGRI LA) out of over 120 submissions to be one of the 19 on the JUNO celebrations disc.  "IN TUNE" down below there's link to check out for more info.

Not only that but it's the 1st track up on the party disc. Kinda nice news, thought I'd share  it wit ya'll. (lol)

CANADIAN COUNTRY CHRISTMAS

WOW! It's been a year of learnin and a rewarding year. The Charitable Concert tour I have led for three years around Christmas known as the Canadian Country Christmas Concert tour (an event for food banks, hospital foundation and many other community needs) just wrapped up and we are all home safe for the Holidays. Hey if you came to one our shows thanks a bunch. I hope you enjoyed it. To date we have raised more than 40 thousand for non sponsored charities throughout Canada.

Country Music Week in Calgary has just wrapped up and Sean had the opportunity to perform at Fanfest in addition to a spectacular Roots showcase at the Telus convention Centre.

Sean has been nominated in 2 categories for the 2005 Canadian Country Music Awards!. Independent Male Artist of the Year, and Independent Song of the Year for "Catalina Sunrise"

 

The awards will be held on September 12th 2005 at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, AB

Plans are under way for the 2005 Canadian Country Christmas Tour This tour will run from November 2nd to December 18th from the Maritimes to Vancouver Island. Artists on the tour to include Diane Chase, Jamie Warren, Tracey James, Duane Steele, Colin Amey, Jason Blaine, Curtis Grambo, Lisa Hewitt and Sean Hogan. Over 30 dates Coast to Coast.

In other news, CFCW Radio has chosen Sean as the Artist of the month for August. www.cfcw.com

Just announced... The Saskatchewan Country Music Association has nominated Sean Hogan for "Male Vocalist of the Year" and "Video of the Year" for "Catalina Sunrise". Also, Sean will be the Annual recipient of the Humanitarian Award this year for his efforts organizing and performing in "Canadian Country Christmas" (A Charity Concert Tour). The 16th Annual Saskatchewan Country Music Awards will be held on Saturday March 19th 2005.
