Thank you for all the letters of support Sean has been receiving since his recent announcement of having a form of cancer. Please note, due to Sean's recent health crisis his new album Phoenix has been delayed, but Sean assures us, it won't be for long. Sean has been doing well all things considered, and he very much appreciates everyone's' support at this time. The cancer Sean has most likely began this past spring, though it was not diagnosed or known to be cancer until mid August. This is a treatable type of illness. In fact Sean's oncologist has repeatedly said we're going for a cure here. It is however a grueling 6 week period of necessary treatments he'll endure with chemotherapy and radiation.

Though September 2011 was the initial projected release date for the album "Phoenix", it will now be released, within a matter of months. Songs from this album you may have heard include Travel Plans, A Song We Can Sing To, and his newest single released week of October 11th, Better Angels Prevail.

Up until the end of July Sean had been having a very active live calendar year. Since early August when Sean became more concerned for his diminished health and found out the unfortunate news of having cancer. Once fully recuperated in early in 2012 Hogan will once again hit the trail to promote his new album, in the flesh.
